The project has three main objectives:

  1. Implementation of three protection methods in situ in selected pilot areas in BiH and RS with monitoring for a minimum of 3 years in order to determine the most effective method that will allow this endemic species to recover naturally and sustainably,
  2. Creation of active protection shifts based on studied methods,
  3. Training of rangers, managers and important stakeholders with the aim of long-term protection of Serbian spruce and proper management
