STANDOUT – Standards for Outdoor Sport Cities and Urban Areas
The project STANDOUT – Standards for outdoor sports in cities and urban areas, coordinated by ENOS – European Network of Outdoor Sports (ENOS develops a new approach by setting standards for urban areas, promoting the well-being of the community through outdoor sports. With a focus on inclusivity, diversity and sustainability, STANDOUT targets underserved populations. The project aims to reshape urban planning, encouraging cities to adopt minimum standards and an accreditation system aligned with the European Green Deal. Through partnership work and intersectoral cooperation, various actors at the level of cities and municipalities contribute to sustainable development.
Digital tools enhance the exchange of knowledge, supporting green infrastructure and addressing barriers, ultimately creating a manual with minimum standards for healthier lifestyles through solutions in harmony with the natural environment.
