From December 10 to 12, 2021, the last meeting within the “Green Line Of Reconnection” project was held. The host club was KPD “HEJ, GREMO NAPREJ”, a project partner from Maribor in Slovenia. The meeting was supposed to summarize the results of the project that was successfully implemented in extremely complex and unpredictable conditions of the global pandemic. The project coordinator, Nenad Lečić, thanked all the members of the team for the great effort and dedication that were necessary in order to successfully and qualitatively realize the three major exchanges that are a key part of the project idea. The flexible approach of the team, participants, but also associates from the European Commission enabled everything that was planned by the project to be realized. At the meeting, videos from project exchanges were premiered, which made everyone smile.

It was stated that the partner organizations have greatly strengthened the cooperation, and that a significant number of organizations from the region have shown interest, both in the project itself and in cooperation with clubs from neighboring countries.

At the meeting, it was proposed to collect data from these organizations in one place to make additional result of the project – GLOR MAP, where the map of the region will be easy to get general contact data of mountaineering organizations committed to cooperation through dating, joint hiking or new projects.

After the end of the part of the meeting that referred to the finances of the project and collecting data for the final report, the participants made a small walking tour in Maribor and the surrounding hills The meeting ended with new plans for joint activities and ideas from which some new interesting projects may emerge.
