The project deals with the tracing, marking and maintenance of hiking trails in the Tara National Park, ie increasing the capacity of the club, both technical and personnel, to perform these tasks.
Tara Mountain Club is 2015/16. as a partner of JP Tara National Park, volunteered for a project co-financed by the Ministry of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications, whose realization established a network of hiking trails over 290km in length. In the meantime, the problem of trail maintenance, that is, renewal of the marking and maintenance of walkability, has come to light.
For the fourth consecutive time, the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Serbia supported the project idea of our club. Through this project PK Tara provided the equipment necessary to maintain the trails and carried out theoretical and practical training of the members for the quality of the above tasks.
