It’s in Gospic, 08-09.02.2020. The first meeting of the Erasmus + Sport project team “Green Line of Reconnection” was held. The meeting was held at the premises of the Mountain Rescue Service – Gospić Station, and was hosted by the Mountaineering Association “Željezničar”. The meeting was attended by Mile Milokovic, Mario Krpanic and Ante Biondic, as representatives of the hosts, Nenad Lecic, Ivan Markovic and Mladenko Maric as representatives of the Mountaineering Club “Tara” – project coordinating organization and Igor Opresnik as representative of partners from Slovenia, Cycling and Hiking Association “Hey , let’s move on “.
During this two-day meeting, all agenda-related topics were discussed and all concerns regarding the successful implementation of the project were clarified. The budget allocation was agreed, as well as the proper disposal and reporting of the coordinator on spending. Minor corrections were made to the anticipated dates of the three key transnational meetings, more specific locations on the Via Dinarica Green Route that will be used for mountaineering, and particular emphasis was placed on increasing project visibility, ie disseminating information on results and events.
Leisure was used to get acquainted with both fellow hikers and the unique atmosphere of Velebit Mountain. After the technical part of the meeting was over, the project team made a joint visit to the complex in Smiljan, Nikola Tesla’s birthplace.
